MasterCard created MiGS as a value-added service to help financial institutions build and strengthen their acquiring businesses.

A key feature of MiGS is that this turnkey system allows acquirers to provide greater support, as well as business growth opportunities, to merchants - especially small and medium size enterprises that are struggling to seize the opportunities provided by e-Commerce developments. MiGS gateway has API integration with many of the more popular Bankcard Services including merchant service platforms Merchant Services Group, High Risk Experts and also compatible with UBC Credit Card Proessor Services. Merchant Manager Module


MiGS also simplifies the task of acquiring, enabling, and maintaining merchants by automating, as far as possible, the varied functions associated with merchant operations through the Merchant Manager (MM) system.

The MM module allows your staff not only to establish and configure merchant profiles, but also maintain the merchant's privileges and display system, in addition to merchant-initiated transactions and user configuration information.

Bank staff can also view and browse the same transaction records as your merchants; therefore it is extremely easy for merchant help desk operators to assist your merchants in resolving any outstanding issues or problems.

The Merchant Manager module provides a set of powerful features that can be used for:

merchant set-up and enablement
generation of secret merchant authentication data
establishment of multi-currency options
creation of multiple payment instruments
Help Desk support for multiple users, with privilege control
